A pagination, on trouve dans TECH H1, p. 542-7, la définition suivante : "Procédé d'attribution dynamique des ressources de la mémoire réelle par blocs de longueur fixe". Le mot-clé est ici attribution dynamique. On a adopté topographie mémoire que Ginguay donne comme équivalent de mapping parce que dans notre contexte pagination n'aurait pas été assez clair et que la topographie mémoire (si l'on se fie à la définition qu'en donne MORI 81) semble être la méthode d'indication à quelles pages de mémoires virtuelles sont attribuées les pages de la mémoire réelle, dans un système de pagination.
