Earth tubes, also called earth-to-air heat exchangers (EAHX), ground-coupled heat exchangers, or earth channels, are long plastic or concrete pipes that are laid underground and are connected to the air intake of buildings. Their purpose is to make use of the fairly constant temperature of the ground to provide some preconditioning of the ventilation air – either pre-heating in the winter or pre-cooling in the summer. 1, record 1, English, - earth%2Dto%2Dair%20heat%20exchanger

4, record 1, French, - puits%20canadien
