The objective of the Emissions Reduction Program is to contribute to the reduction in growth of greenhouse gas emissions in developing countries, through the transfer of expertise and technologies, specifically in the transportation, energy, industrial, agriculture and waste sectors, which reduce emissions below what they would have been without the assistance.
