OBS

Le terme anglais tree boom a été souvent traduit en français par flèche à arbres, sans doute dans le but de différencier la flèche d'abattage de la flèche de chargement ou d'alimentation, les deux se trouvant parfois en même temps sur le même engin. Ce calque de l'anglais n'est toutefois pas très heureux et ne devrait pas être retenu.
