Mission: To sponsor and promote educational programs and services to all persons with fibromyalgia, their families and friends, their physicians and health care professionals and to the general public. To promote and sponsor scientific and clinical research as to the causes, treatments and cure of fibromyalgia.

The Fibromyalgia Support Group of Winnipeg, Inc. offers education, supports the development of coping skills and provides up-to-date information. It also aims to facilitate awareness and acceptance of fibromyalgia within the medical community and the general public. [It] is a non-profit, registered charitable organization affiliated with the Society of Manitobans with Disabilities (SMD) Self-Help Clearinghouse since 1992.
