Il ne faut pas sceller les dessins d'archives qui ont été modifiés à partir de renseignements fournis aux professionnels responsables par une partie ne relevant pas de leur direction, de leur contrôle ou de leur surveillance et qui n'ont pas été vérifiés à fond par les professionnels responsables. Ces dessins doivent faire l'objet d'une révision, et les changements apportés doivent être documentés comme découlant des «renseignements fournis par une autre partie». Le sceau original doit être remplacé par une note renvoyant au premier document scellé. Les dessins d'archives qui ont été modifiés par suite de renseignements qui ont été vérifiés par les professionnels responsables doivent être scellés.
