[Said of materials which are] not readily ignited and [which do] not propagate flame under test conditions, [those materials being] usually combustible materials [to which] some treatment or coating to modify their burning properties [has been added]. 8, record 1, English, - flameproof

fireproof: [This term] has been officially discontinued in NFPA publications as misleading, as no material is immune to the effects of fire of sufficient intensity and duration, although fireproof [is] popularly used. 9, record 1, English, - flameproof

Record 1, Textual support, French
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 DEF
7, record 1, French, - ignifug%C3%A9
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 OBS
3, record 1, French, - ignifug%C3%A9
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 2 OBS
3, record 1, French, - ignifug%C3%A9
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 3 OBS
7, record 1, French, - ignifug%C3%A9
