Technique d'ornementation d'étoffe par laquelle un adhésif est appliqué sur l'étoffe entière. Des fibres courtes [appelées flocs] sont projetées sur le support par saupoudrage, par air forcé ou par attaction électrostatique.

OBS

Les emplois du flocage sont très variés : les flocs (qui sont des fibres courtes) peuvent être projetés sur des supports de matières différentes: textile, papier, plastique, métal, etc. Le flocage a pour but d'améliorer l'état de surface du support, ou de le modifier afin de lui donner l'aspect du velours.
