The Arts Policy Branch is responsible for a number of policy-related matters pertaining to professional artists and the arts sector as a whole. In accordance with the Department of Canadian Heritage's Framework for the Arts, the Branch supports professional not-for-profit organizations through a number of programs that focus on: Excellence and diversity in creativity; Connecting people and the arts; Sustaining the arts sector.
