[Les roches gabbro-dioritiques] constituent un terme de passage entre les diorites non quartzifères et les gabbros. La distinction entre ces deux types de roche s'effectue en fonction de la basicité du plagioclase, lequel, dans le second cas, est plus riche en calcium.
