The philosophy of the university's International Centre is based on creating an international climate on campus through student participation. Through the centre's three inter-related areas: Foreign Student Services and Programs, the Global Education Program and the Education Abroad Program - an environment that provides learning opportunities for students, encourages their participation in development and recognizes them as resources is fostered on campus. The centre offers programs and services including a speakers bureau made up of foreign and Canadian students with international experience, the annual International Week, a directory of resources for a global education which includes information on courses, faculty and student groups that have a focus on the South, and a peer referral system that matches students going on exchanges with those who are from there or who have been there. 1, record 1, English, - Global%20Education%20Program

Le Centre international de l'université a pour principe de créer un climat international sur le campus en faisant appel aux étudiants. Par les trois volets interreliés du centre, Services et programmes pour les étudiants étrangers, Programme d'éducation planétaire et Programme d'études à l'étranger, il favorise la création d'un milieu qui offre des possibilités d'apprentissage aux étudiants, les invite à participer au développement et les reconnaît en tant que personnes-ressources. Le centre offre des programmes et des services dont un bureau de conférenciers groupant des étudiants canadiens et étrangers ayant une éxperience internationale, la Semaine internationale annuelle, un répertoire de ressources pour l'éducation planétaire qui contient de l'information sur des cours, des groupes de professeurs et d'étudiants qui s'intéressent au Sud et un système d'aiguillage confraternel qui met en contact des étudiants qui s'engagent dans un échange avec d'autres, originaires du pays étranger ou qui y sont allés. 1, record 1, French, - Programme%20d%27%C3%A9ducation%20plan%C3%A9taire
