OBS

GlobeSAR is an international program aimed at preparing the participants to use RADARSAT data for resource management applications in their own country. It provides an international perspective and training based on preliminary demonstration projects using simulated data and ground-truthing information acquired in ten countries: China, Jordan, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Malaysia, Morocco, Thailand, Tunisia and Vietnam.

GlobeSAR, the overall project of which the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) research activity is one component, is led by the Canada Centre for Remote Sensing.
