Clinical Practice Guidelines of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada (SOGC). Deals with transport of pregnant women. The introduction reads as follows: "Transport of high-risk pregnant women, mothers and neonates is recognized as an essential component of modern perinatal care. The outcome for the high risk neonate is improved if transported antenatally to a referral centre that can provide immediate intensive pediatric evaluation and support for the newborn.
