Denture hélicoïdale. Ce type de denture présente l'avantage d'être plus silencieux que la denture droite, en créant moins de vibrations. Les dentures hélicoïdales permettent également d'augmenter la conduite de la transmission, en faisant en sorte que le nombre de dents simultanément en contact devienne constant, ce qui permet de transmettre des efforts plus importants et surtout d'atténuer les vibrations et les bruits.
