L'impression à jet d'encre haute pression. L'encre est projetée de manière continue. Elle est envoyée dans les cracheurs par haute pression. Le jet d'encre se sépare en gouttelettes durant le vol. En fonctionnement, un système électrostatique dévie le jet qui est chargé par une tension pour qu'il n'aille pas sur le papier. Il est récupéré sur des plaques poreuses à la masse par un système d'aspiration après filtrage.
