Hypothèse : il s'agit sans doute d'un programme qui fait la simulation de débits dans un grand bassin subdivisé en différents tronçons (les "river reach"). On attribue à chaque tronçon, ou sous-bassin, un indice X-Y-Z correspondant à un débit donné. On propose "débit d'entrée", parce que le "in-flow" correspond à un débit affluent (ou débit d'entrée), par opposition à un "outflow" (débit défluent). Explications et équivalent français fournis par M. Alexandre STOIAN, ingénieur de la firme Technosult. Il a consulté plusieurs de ses collègues spécialistes en hydrologie.
