Le pin de l'Himalaya (Pinus griffithii), à cinq feuilles fasciculées, très souples, longues et d'un vert bleuté, formant de belles touffes élégantes à l'extrémité des rameaux, est un arbre de grande taille, qui exige une terre fertile, non calcaire et une atmosphère humide. C'est un des plus beaux arbres d'ornement.
