The joining of geomembrane panels together result in a seam which is often significantly weaker that the geomembrane itself. This is particularly true of seams made in the field versus those made in the fabrication factory, where quality control can be exercised more rigorously. To determine the strength of a geomembrane seam, two types of tests are common: shear and peel. 1, record 1, English, - joining%20of%20geomembrane%20panels
