London Court of International Arbitration was established in 1892 as an institution for commercial dispute resolution. The foundation of the LCIA Arbitration Court in 1985 represented a major step towards the internationalisation of the LCIA. The institution administers dispute resolution proceedings for all parties, regardless of their membership, location, and under any system of law. The LCIA is a non-for-profit organisation which operates under a three-tier structure, comprising the Company, the Arbitration Court and the Secretariat, supported by five Users' Councils around the world. 1, record 1, English, - London%20Court%20of%20International%20Arbitration

Établie en 1892, la Cour internationale d'arbitrage de Londres a été établie pour résoudre les litiges commerciaux. Le mot «international» a été ajouté au nom de la Cour en 1985 année qui a marqué une étape majeure vers l'internationalisation de la CAIL. L'Institution administre des procédures de résolution de conflits pour toute partie, indépendamment de sa qualité de membre, de son siège, et ce selon tout système juridique.
