The Canadian Occupational Projection System [COPS] 1996 Macroeconomic Reference Scenario provides a highly detailed projection of the Canadian economy out to the year 2005. This projection is a synthesis of the consensus among major private sector forecasters, the judgement of the Occupational Projections and Macroeconomics Studies unit and the judgement of COPS partners in HRDC's [Human Resources Development Canada] regional offices, with the cooperation of their provincial counterparts.
