English

Subject field(s)
  • Mental health and hygiene
  • Physical Education, Coaching and Sport Psychology
DEF

The ability to maintain a high level of motivation for long periods, despite discomfort and discouragement.

OBS

"Mental stamina," which is usually used in connection with, but not limited to, physical activities, relates to the energy component of an effort and is considered a part of mental endurance, whereas the term "mental endurance" stresses the time factor involved in an effort.

French

Domaine(s)
