Détonateur à microretard. Cette nouvelle série de détonateurs a des retards de 20 à 50 millisecondes au lieu de 55 centisecondes dans les retards ordinaires. L'échelonnement des retards est généralement compris alors entre 20 et 30 millisecondes, ce qui permet de réaliser en un temps très court de nombreuses explosions distinctes les unes des autres, mais pouvant interagir entre elles; ceci a pour conséquence un écartement possible des trous des mines, d'où une diminution des frais de perforation et de la quantité d'explosif nécessaire pour abattre un mètre cube de terrain.
