La limite qui sépare la zone intacte de la zone laminée est habituellement très bien définie [...] c'est-à-dire qu'il n'y a pas de gradation entre les deux zones. Ce phénomène est bien visible dans certains échantillons, alors que la base horizontale et le cœur des nodules sont complètement recristallisés, tandis que leur périphérie demeure intacte.
