Record 1, Textual support, English
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 DEF
A theory frequency distribution [representing continuous data] that is bell-shaped, symmetrical, and of infinite extent. 4, record 1, English, - normal%20distribution
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 OBS
The description of the distribution as the "normal", used by Galton, is almost universal in English, although "Gaussian" is becoming a frequent synonym in special contexts. Continental writers refer to it variously by the names of Laplace and/or Gauss. 10, record 1, English, - normal%20distribution

Record 1, Textual support, French
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 DEF
9, record 1, French, - loi%20normale
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 2 DEF
2, record 1, French, - loi%20normale
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 OBS
2, record 1, French, - loi%20normale
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 CONT

1, record 2, French, - courbe%20en%20cloche
