A real estate developer and inveterate tinkerer, Sarich spent much of the seventies fooling around with a strange rotary powerplant that he dubbed the Orbital engine. It flopped, but during its development, Sarich and his engineers learned a few things about combustion and applied them to the two-stroke engine. They called their approach the Orbital Combustion Process, or OCP.

Il faut donc trouver une méthode d'injection du carburant provoquant sa vaporisation complète dans un temps extrêmement réduit. Pour cela il y a, actuellement, deux écoles principales, celle de l'injection pneumatique (Orbital, IFP-PSA, Toyota, General Motors, ...) et celle de l'injection liquide haute-pression (Renault, Subaru, ...). Dans l'une des méthodes étudiées depuis les années 1960, le carburant liquide est injecté dans le cylindre à une pression très élevée, souvent supérieure à cent bars pour obtenir une bonne pulvérisation [...] Depuis le milieu des années 1980, la commande mécanique des injecteurs prototypes est remplacée par une commande électronique avec des électroaimants rapides. [...] Dans la solution mise au point par l'Australien Orbital, un compresseur supplémentaire entraîné par le moteur fournit une pression d'air de cinq à sept bars, permettant une pulvérisation à travers une microsoupape, de deux millimètres de diamètre, à commande électronique. La société Orbital souhaite commercialiser ses moteurs.

Moroccan phosphate is mined in the framework of a State monopoly entrusted to a publicly-owned company created in August 1920, Office Chérifien des Phosphates, which became OCP Group in 1975. However, actual mining and beneficiation started on March 1st, 1921, in Boujniba, not far from the city of Khouribga. In 1965, with the start-up of Maroc Chimie, in Safi, the Group became also an exporter of phosphate derivatives. In 1998, it reached a new stage when it started manufacturing and exporting purified phosphoric acid.

Les phosphates marocains sont exploités dans le cadre d'un monopole d'État confié à un établissement public créé en août 1920, l'Office Chérifien des Phosphates, devenu Groupe OCP en 1975. Mais c'est le 1er mars 1921 que l'activité d'extraction et de traitement démarre à Boujniba, dans la région de Khouribga. En 1965, avec la mise en service de Maroc Chimie à Safi, le Groupe devient également exportateur de produits dérivés. En 1998, il franchit une nouvelle étape en lançant la fabrication et l'exportation d'acide phosphorique purifié.
