Health Canada. The Office of Policy and Strategic Planning, in collaboration with all Tobacco Control Progamme offices, develops and assesses policies, strategies and frameworks directed at reducing tobacco use in Canada. The Office also participates in international referenda and in the development of treaties which promote international cooperation in tobacco control. Finally, the Office assumes responsibility for ensuring Canada's obligations are met with respect to the World Health Organization's Framework Convention on Tobacco Control.

Santé Canada. Le Bureau de la politique et de la planification stratégique, en collaboration avec les bureaux du Programme de la lutte au tabagisme, élabore et évalue les politiques, les stratégies et les cadres visant à réduire le tabagisme au Canada. Le Bureau participe aussi aux rencontres internationales et à l'élaboration de traités faisant la promotion de la coopération internationale dans la lutte au tabagisme. Enfin, le Bureau est chargé de veiller au respect des obligations du Canada à l'égard de la Convention-cadre pour la lutte antitabac de l'Organisation mondiale de la Santé.
