Open House Canada is a program of the Youth Participation Directorate, Canadian Heritage which aim is to provide learning opportunities to Canadian youth to increase their knowledge, appreciation and respect for the diversity of Canadian society and its institutions. Funding is provided to national non-profit organizations which administer reciprocal group exchanges and national forums for Canadian youth between the ages of 14 and 19. The program encourages bilingual, multicultural, and rural/isolated community exchanges. Hospitalité Canada est un programme du ministère du Patrimoine canadien, Direction Participation-Jeunesse, dont le but est d'offrir des possibilités d'apprentissage à de jeunes Canadiens pour les amener à mieux connaître, apprécier et respecter la diversité de la société canadienne et de ses institutions. De l'aide financière est consentie à des organismes nationaux à but non lucratif qui administrent des échanges de groupes et des forums nationaux pour les jeunes Canadiens de 14 à 19 ans. Le programme soutient les échanges bilingues et multiculturels ainsi que les échanges avec des collectivités rurales ou isolées.
