L’hépatectomie partielle est une intervention chirurgicale qui permet d’enlever la tumeur ainsi qu’une marge de tissu hépatique sain. C’est le traitement principal des personnes atteintes d’un cancer du foie quand : il n’y a qu’une seule tumeur de moins de 2 cm qui n’a pas envahi les ganglions lymphatiques ou les vaisseaux sanguins; il n’y a pas de cirrhose du foie.
