Un lambeau chirurgical est un morceau de tissu (peau, muscle, os, graisse, etc.) qui a été séparé de ses attaches au reste du corps, sauf celles qui contiennent le réseau de fines canalisations permettant au tissu d'être alimenté en oxygène contenu dans le sang. Ces attaches restantes nécessaires (le pédicule) peuvent être une bande de peau, un muscle, ou seulement des vaisseaux sanguins.
