Pentachlorophenol is the most widely used of the chlorinated phenols in wood preservation. It is a highly effective organic chemical and is used at concentrations of 3-5% dissolved in heavy petroleum oils. Its low water solubility is an important factor in its effectiveness against wood-rotting fungi and insects. 7, record 1, English, - 2%2C3%2C4%2C5%2C6%2Dpentachlorophenol

5, record 1, French, - 2%2C3%2C4%2C5%2C6%2Dpentachloroph%C3%A9nol
