There are six forms of vitamin B6: pyridoxal (PL), pyridoxine (PN), pyridoxamine (PM), and their phosphate derivatives: pyridoxal 5'-phosphate (PLP), pyridoxine 5'-phosphate (PNP), and pyridoxamine 5'-phosphate (PMP).

Dialcool dérivé de la pyridine

CONT

La pyridoxine est la forme pharmaceutique (vitamine B6) du couple pyridoxal-pyridoxamine, qui intervient dans les réactions des transaminases. [Elle] agit, à l'état de chlorhydrate, comme coenzyme dans le métabolisme de plusieurs acides aminés, des glucides et des lipides. Elle se trouve dans la levure de bière, la viande, les poissons, le son du riz, lequel constitue sa principale source d'extraction. Elle se prépare également par synthèse. Sa carence provoque des troubles neuropsychiques, cutanés et digestifs.
