Recognizing the importance that provinces and states place on Canada-U.S. [United States] bilateral trade, both federal governments encouraged the establishment of the Province/State Advisory Group (PSAG). Officially formed in June 1999, the Advisory Group serves as a forum where producers and exporters, through their provincial and state governments, can raise bilateral agricultural trade issues as well as enhance cooperation and coordination on areas of concern.
