Reporting to the Director, Ottawa Laboratory Carling (OLC), the Quality Assurance and Safety Officer has a lead role for planning, implementing, monitoring, controlling and auditing the OLC Quality Assurance (QA) system and the Environment Management system. The incumbent is also responsible for ensuring that safety and biological safety policies and programs are developed and applied throughout the laboratory.
