Record 1, Textual support, English
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 DEF
A spontaneous nuclear transformation in which particles or gamma radiation are emitted or X radiation is emitted following orbital electron capture, or the nucleus undergoes spontaneous fission. 5, record 1, English, - radioactive%20decay
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 CONT
The decay of No nuclides to give N nuclides after time t is given by N = Noexp(-[gamma]t), where [gamma] is called the decay constant or the disintegration constant. The reciprocal of the decay constant is the mean life. 6, record 1, English, - radioactive%20decay
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 OBS
Decay is associated with the loss of the radioactive isotope and the formation of another isotope of the same element but of lower mass, or the formation of one or more different elements. The rate of decay is proportional to the amount of the radioactive isotope present in the sample and is characterized in terms of its half-life. The half-life is the time taken for the radioactivity to decay to 50% of its original activity. 7, record 1, English, - radioactive%20decay
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 2 OBS
radioactive decay: term and definition standardized by ISO in 1997. 8, record 1, English, - radioactive%20decay

Record 1, Textual support, French
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 DEF
4, record 1, French, - d%C3%A9sint%C3%A9gration%20radioactive
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 CONT
3, record 1, French, - d%C3%A9sint%C3%A9gration%20radioactive
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 2 CONT
