Operators of dosimetry services may furnish one or more of three basic types of dosimetry: (a) external dosimetry .... (b) internal dosimetry.... (c) the measurement of radioactive atmospheres, which is usually accomplished by means of air monitoring techniques. Typical measurements are radon and thoron daughters, and radioactive dusts, in uranium mines.
