La traduction repose sur l'expression «structure des taux de rémunération» qu'on trouve dans le Dictionnaire canadien des relations du travail. Selon ce dictionnaire, l'expression «structure des taux de rémunération» désigne l'ensemble des rapports entre les différents taux de rémunération ou encore le cadre à l'intérieur duquel sont aménagés les différents taux de rémunération. Par conséquent, une restructuration consiste en l'établissement de nouveaux rapports entre les différents taux ou l'utilisation d'un nouveau cadre à l'intérieur duquel sont aménagés ces différents taux.
