Hunt, Tony, Kwaknaka'wakw (KWAKIUTL) artist (b at Alert Bay, BC, 24 Aug 1942). He is leader in the social and ceremonial life of Alert Bay, a master of traditional performance as well as of the visual arts, and has established an international reputation as a carver of Kwakiutl-style Northwest Coast Native Art. In 1982 he was commissioned to do a 4 tonne stone sculpture for the Canadian Museum of Civilization, called "Raven Transforming into Man."

Hunt est un chef de file de la vie sociale et cérémonielle d'Alert Bay ainsi qu'un maître des arts de la scène traditionnels et des arts visuels. Il s'assure une renommée internationale comme sculpteur d'œuvres du style kwakiutl de l'Art autochtone de la côte du Nord-Ouest. En 1982, le Musée canadien des civilisations lui commande une sculpture en pierre de quatre tonnes, intitulée Raven Transforming into Man (Corbeau se transformant en homme).
