The Raw Materials Price Index (RMPI) measures price changes for raw materials purchased for further processing by manufacturers operating in Canada. As a purchasers' price index, prices include all charges purchasers incur to bring a commodity to the establishment gate. L'Indice des prix des matières brutes (IPMB) mesure la variation des prix d'achat des matières brutes par les fabricants opérant au Canada en vue d'une transformation subséquente. Comme il s'agit d'un indice des prix d'achat, les prix comprennent tous les frais supportés par l'acheteur pour faire parvenir le produit à la porte de leur établissement.
