Sometimes canadians leaving Canada and non-residents entering Canada need information about their Canadian residency. To help them, the International Tax Services Office and all tax services offices of Revenue Canada have access to an expert computer system called the Residency Determination Advisor. This system allows departmental staff to determine and process enquiries about an individual's residency quickly and accurately.

Il arrive que les Canadiens quittant le Canada et les non-résidents entrant au Canada aient besoin de renseignements sur leur statut de résidence au Canada. Afin de les aider à déterminer ce statut, le Bureau international des services fiscaux et tous les bureaux des services fiscaux de Revenu Canada ont accès à un système expert appelé le Conseiller en détermination du statut de résidence. Ce système permet aux employés du Ministère de déterminer le statut d'un particulier et de traiter les demandes de renseignements au sujet du statut de résidence de façon rapide et précise.
