A precipitin technique in which the preparation is moved by application of an electric current through a medium that contains evenly dispersed antibody. The rapid migration of antigen produces changing concentration of antigen relative to the antibody, and precipitin lines form a convex pattern likened to the shape of an ascending rocket.
