This plan is for a sheep drylot unit as one component of a western-type semi-confinement sheep facility. This unit consists of an earth lot with outside fenceline feed bunks, windbreak fencing and an open-front pole shed for a sheltered bedded area. The components are arranged for year-round sheep housing in areas of low precipitation (under 20 inches per year).

La présente brochure décrit un parc d'élevage pour moutons pouvant être utilisé dans des régions où les précipitations sont faibles (moins de 500 mm (20 po) annuellement). L'installation est composée d'un lot de terre avec mangeoires de clôture, de clôtures brise-vent et d'un abri à poteaux semi-ouvert à l'avant. L'installation peut servir toute l'année pour l'alimentation des brevis, des brevis avec leurs agneaux ou des agneaux de finition. L'installation peut être construite par phases et en différent grandeurs.
