Robot tondeur de moutons [...] Des chercheurs australiens de l'université de Western Australia ont mis au point en 1984 un robot - le premier du genre - capable de tondre un mouton. Il a déjà été expérimenté avec succès sur plusieurs centaines de moutons. L'ordinateur garde en mémoire la forme du corps du mouton, ce qui lui permet de diriger la course du bras tenant la tondeuse électrique. Un senseur capte le faible courant électrique à la superficie de la peau, permettant ainsi de garder le contrôle de l'ensemble.
