A [wind turbine] circuit feature which gradually increases the power output from a converter when it is powered-up. 3, record 1, English, - soft%20start
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 OBS
[Soft-start] minimises stresses on the power circuit components by eliminating uncontrolled voltage or current surges. 3, record 1, English, - soft%20start
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 2 OBS
All turbines are re-fitted with a modern controller which is more operationally sophisticated than those originally supplied with the turbines. These include soft start features, which greatly protect the generator and drive system of the turbine. 4, record 1, English, - soft%20start

2, record 1, French, - d%C3%A9marrage%20souple
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 CONT
3, record 1, French, - d%C3%A9marrage%20souple
