The specialized collector is no longer satisfied with the arrangement in a chronological order on the basis of the catalogue, although he respects it to a certain extent. He concentrates on different perforations, types of stamps, printing errors, deficiencies, etc. In other words he is interested in all circumstances of the production and use of stamps.
