L'étude des quasi-cristaux a permis d'élaborer trois théories de leur structure: le modèle de Penrose, le modèle vitreux et le modèle de pavage aléatoire [....] Dans le modèle vitreux, on pose que des interactions focales assemblent des agrégats d'atomes de façon assez aléatoire.
