The Sport Alliance of Ontario (SAO) was created to be an organization representing the sport sector in Ontario in a manner that will prove to be an innovative concept and unparalleled in Canada. The SAO has as its members, the representatives of provincial sport organizations, parks and recreation agencies, the educational sector and professional sports and recreation administrators. It is a private non-profit organization that will enable all the partners in the sport delivery system in Ontario to ensure that their services and resources are profiled and efficiently utilised.
