Stratiform exhalative sulphide deposits are generally concordant, masssive to semi-massive accumulations of sulphide (primarily iron sulphide)-sulphate minerals (barite, anhydrite) that formed on or immediately below the seafloor penecontemporaneously with their host rocks.
