Scientific balloon missions which NASA conducted from Lynn Lake, Canada, in 1991. The scientific balloon launches occurred on July 25 and August 9 as part of the Summer 1991 Cosmic and Heliospheric Physics Balloon Campaign. The first launch was a 29.47 million cubic feet balloon which attained an altitude of 118,800 feet. It carried 6,000 pounds of suspended weight, including an experiment from the Boston University. The experiment was designed to measure cosmic ray isotopes from helium to neon.
