Document used to obtain parliamentary approval of proposed changes in the allocation of funds previously approved in the Main Estimates, or to obtain a further allocation of funds.

OBS

There are generally at least two supplementary estimates (indicated as A, B and so on) during the fiscal year. Departments typically submit Supplementary Estimates in September and Final Supplementary Estimates in January; these are tabled by the President of the Treasury Board in November and March, and approved by Parliament in December and late March, respectively. Other Supplementary Estimates are presented as needed.
