English

Subject field(s)
  • Cultural Practices (Agriculture)
  • Crop Protection
DEF

A pesticide that is absorbed by plant tissue and translocated throughout the plant.

OBS

Consequently, if only a portion of the plant, such as the roots, receives a pesticide application, all of the plant would be toxic to a pest, including the leaves. Acephate and triforine are examples of systemic pesticides.

OBS

systemic pesticide: term extracted from the “Glossaire de l’agriculture” and reproduced with permission of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.

French

Domaine(s)

  • Protection des végétaux
OBS

OBS

Engloba a insecticidas, fungicidas y herbicidas.

OBS
